I am very sorry that I am not updating the blog... that it has been already about two weeks... Yes, said that many times before, but, I am very busy at the moment, just working on a lot of new things and since I was back in Berlin and back into my regular environmnet I have been invaded by different ideas that I have to bring to reality, which takes a lot of time, and these days is taking me about 10h/day.
I promise thatk, beside this, there are other things cooking, and I will reveal soon ;)

On the other hand, I am using quite a lot instagram and facebook just to make some fast updates about what I am working on (and sometimes -most times- just posting random stuff, haha).

So, for now, I actually show you now that photoshoot that I think I already promised weeks ago... I met that photographer, Lena Sonríe, in Barcelona and she created this atmosphere using some of the "black-bleck-blick-block-bluck" project garments. So here are the final pictures !!

Shooting

AWW! Almost 10 days since I do not update the blog... sorry! I got some news that you might have seen on facebook or instagram probably, will give you "extended info" here this week though. 

By now, some other nice thing I have been doing in Barcelona: I met this girl, photography student in Barcelona, and she proposed me to make a "fashion photoshoot" for school. Of course I said YES! 

These pictures are made by myself, during one of the sets at the school studio, and I will upload her final shoots these days, and will also try to know what mark she received for her work!

Back to the streets and markets in Barcelona after the winter holidays pause ! By now, these are the upcoming dates/events and places, probably a couple more dates in february and then OFF TO BERLIN! Thinking about SALES
 

Currently

Those who follow The Bronze Medal on facebook already know that I am in Barcelona a couple of months to present and try to sell and promote the brand here. By now I can not complain because, besides the sales, which have been great, people is having very nice words and compliments, so pretty much glad for that ! 

Also, I updated the website with this image, you know, just because I still have not finished with that and it has to move somehow. 

That is all by now but I percieve you will have more new very very soon: Watch out ! 

P.S: Still looking for more markets and shops to show/sell on the area. 

Spring state of mind

Already working on a preview of spring-summer season, specially for Barcelona markets on the next two months, wich will be available in Berlin from february-march or via the online shop, depending on the stock.

More White Noise

GOOD NEWS ! 

At least from the part of the creaton (my part), because I looooove this fabric, and Iguess also from those costumers who bought a piece of the White Noise serie. Anyway, the news are that there are gonna be more and more White Noise garments  available, in Berlin Markets, atelier (by appointment) and also in Barcelona Market on the 1st december in Demanoenmano market at Estació de FranÇa. Hopefully more dates will be confirmed soon. 

Actually here are two good news already, more White (annoying) Noise and dates for Barcelona ! If you are around and would like to pass by, check out the Barcelona facebooook event, I will update any new reports and so on.

L'architecture de la Haute Couture

Standing these last days in the fascinating Barcelona, I attended the Festival of all Design (FadFest), that concentrates industrial design, graphic design and visual communication, architecture and interior design, fashion, art and crafts. FAD is a private, independent and non-profit association that has the objective of promoting design all of kinds.

Between all this different ways of expression, sometimes clever and sometimes funny, sometimes classic and sometimes laternative and new wave design, there was a section that I specially liked based on handicrafts-artisans items.

And the I found this magnificent plastic structured dress. Vaillo + Irigaray architects  presented this amazing dress called L'architecture de la Haute Couture. Being selected for Fadfest competition, this piece was awarded with other design prices in 2013.  Unavoidably i had to think about corsets, and it remind me as well the ballet dresses, the ballerinas outfit, and also somehow a suit of armor. All in one. I am not sure about what they were actually thinking or what do they exactly want to explain, besides the construction of a dress as they normaly make buildings or installations models, but for me, maybe because my critic eyes, I directly saw the ficticiuous in the plastic and the estrict standards in the hardness of its lines, of the world of fashion; probably not all of it, but let's say most of it or the eighty percent of it.

I leave the argue here, just letting you analyse and think what do you see here.
