WEEKEND DATES AND ADDRESSES

Lucky this year to have the chance to sell some stuff at Karneval der Kulturen :) 

Not sure yet where is gonna be the stand where you can find The Bronze Medal garments, but will lwt you know as soon as I do !! 

But, even so, you will find The Bronze Medal as well at Maybachufer on saturday at the same place and on sunday at Mauerpark. 

You got at least three chances to check whats new !! But most important of all...

Crystal preview

These are recycled pieces of glass from old lamps become necklaces. As unique and old pieces, there is gonna be a very limited edition. Some will be available at the onlineshop very soon and probably at the Fabulous Market in Barcelona on december the 21st, as a preview of next spring project.

Spring state of mind

Already working on a preview of spring-summer season, specially for Barcelona markets on the next two months, wich will be available in Berlin from february-march or via the online shop, depending on the stock.

SUMMER IS GONE

Yeah, introducing last days some new warm items here, apparently now summer is officially gone, at least here in Berlin, where the rain replaced the sun. I just try to make some fun about that, no ofense ;) 

I used for this campaing's poster the top of a complete worn out blue cotton outfit, composed by straight long skirt and this sweater. Will show it soon. By now, have a look at the online shop and be fast if you like something because autumn/winter items are running out by themselves! 

The basket ball reviewed

As I said, there is a serie of basketball shirts inspired dresses to end the summer and as a pivotal item: loose light cotton pieces, also as long straight skirts that you will see soon too, and what will develope into other garments for next year, probably.  

There is a sporty trend all over streets and magazines, official sport articles, baseball and basketball are the most worn, and of course the sneakers, but what I propose is more simple and pure, no numbers, no names, no logos. 

This model here, is on grey cotton + elastane and elastic black an pink belt.

Bring the Mediterranean

From the Latin Mar Medi Terraneum, meaning "sea in the middle of the land", known for the Romans as the Mare Nostrum, "Our Sea". The Mediterranean Sea has been a key to the history, witnessed battles for control of its coasts and its navigation.

And because of this common history, there are somehow similarities between the different populations bathed by this sea. The Mediterranean culture is a fact, including at the highest artistic and literary productions to more everyday customs. One of its most striking peculiarities is its warm climate, and this makes possible the warm-blood-character of the population and the food from the region. 

A mediterranean is addicted to which the sea provides without even being aware of it until it has been far and misses. The mediterranen manners are different, and we realize when we are away. 

I wanted to make this introduction because is need to be said, that as I had this fabrics in my hands, some ideas came to my mind: olives and grapes; oil and wine. So this had to be this way. 

By chance, in my friend's kitchen they hava a crazy wall paper that actually represents a coast, seen from some kind of terrace. 

You might remember this fabric, in other colors combination, from this post and from this one too. I just decided to get all the colors availables and make a complete serie of these, because seems like people are loving them! even though not being unique pieces, there might be just a limited edition not decided yet, but around 5 from each color and, of course, signed by The Mesh Label Collection. By now, not available in the online shop, just available for direct purchase in Berlin.

Make up and Dinosaurs

Today, just two bathroom moments in one: play with toys while taking a bath and the make up crazyness that invades many dressing tables and shelds, spreading the crazynesss out. But, in this case, all fake: no water, no real make up, just some plastic dinosaurs.

Intercom Telephone

We had the possibility to make a photoshoot at a really old friends house, and we found really sprecial to make a vintage style, set on the 70s.  

I chose this white outfit because I think it is more than suited to the wallpaper-door-intercome corner we chose,  and how the pictures were gonna be taken.

I think it all came together synergistically in a spectacular way, almost natural. Going to be, in principle, almost anything improvised, to be a perfectly designed bearing.

 And so, as well, now you can have it HERE ! It is a piece that people is interested on quite a lot, but some of them find it a bit expensive, and I just say: anyone else is gonna wear the same as you. I was checking the prices on the "megacorporation" brands, those who make uniforms for us, so that we look exactly the same, and so we can feel we belong to soemthing, or whatever, and those prices are exactly same, and with some pieces higher. I say "look, i am my own boss, I dont want to be the worst boss in the world and exploit myself and pay myself ridiculous amount of money for my work.

It is our decission, but we should think about all this a litte longer, from time to time. At the end, a person who questions my job, is not the customer I want, because he/she can not appreciate things.
