Oh yess ! the tropical print is back! Well... it was back, because it is gone alerady too..if that is possible and understable. You have just seen this here before, on a dress version, and this print was used on a dark blue sweater (no pictures from that).

Just a break between the smooth and the textures,  two of the basic principles of The Bronze Medal, but still on the black and white. 

I would say, maybe even say again, if you do not know yet, that I go for the harmony, the clarity, the innocence, the simplicity, the brightnes. And even so I have used graphics before, of course, I feel a total difference here. Maybe on the chaos of the print. I cannot tell. Maybe it already was a bit like that on the White Noise serie, but somehow it was on the course. 

I guess I will have to explain some day what is actually the course about, or what it means to me or even what do I want to explain. But, you know, "to define is to limit"  (Oscar Wilde in "Picture of Dorian Gray") and I presume I am still looking for that, in any case. 

Both pieces are sold already, but still working with these fabrics. 

Wool head. Cocodile skin.

I know, you know, I admit it, I love sateen and shine. And what I love most than that, is to mix it with a totally different texture and material, like we made for this photoshoot, with the mohair snood in red-blue-green. 

Amazing black cocodile sateen fabric: light as a feather, shiny, perfect flow. Black-bleck-blick-block-bluck sweater, already SOLD OUT. 

Working on some more snoods for The Mesh Label Collection proposal for this winter, as this one. Available at the online shop in a few weeks. Checking best colors combinations for the season!

Yes, still working on next steps I rescue this pictures made this summer in Berlin Tempelhof airport, because I foresee these tones everywhere, even where there were supposed to be the oranges and the blues. 

Jersey is The Mesh Label Collection, seen here, here and here in the two different versions. It is actually amazing how versatil it is, as I realize I have used it almost as a key piece. Elephant leg trousers are from The Bronze Medal Apparel's next spring/summer proposal. 

Testing

Just started to prepare new pieces for next project and I have been basicly making some tests with materials, techniques and shapes. Even I already got interesting results with this cloud image, I am still on the trial and error stage. Ideas are completely clear, just need to hit the target.

I am really sorry for not having much time these days for updating the blog or showing maybe more interesting posts, but I am currently working hard on what is coming next for The Bronze Medal, special pieces for my next trip to Paris this week, and also some pararell projects. Very soon there will be loads of headlines.

Tribute to Kraftwerk 

Pioneers in electronic music. And when i say "electronic music" I mean proper electronic, 100%. Introducing inovative equipments, loving synths, using vocoders, and other things never used for music before. They probably made possible the elctronic music. And because they made a thing from the neon too. 

I need to mention too, that I am looking forward to see this 3D video-installation at the Sprue Thmagers Berlin to see what kind of crazy invention they made this time. I have seen some images already, and I would describe them absolutely their style. With all this re-vival of old times, all this kind of antique and old-fashioned images are now at the top of the hypes, but on their case, the Kraftwerk project just remain the same, it remains on how it started almost fourty years ago. 

Yeah, all this was an excuse to say that I wanna watch this video, plus I remembered I made this pulli-dress already some time ago, from an vintage short leave jumper, just adding metallic blue long-sleeves. And I have to recognize that it straight reminded me to Kraftwerk, and nothing else. 

Of course, there is no chance to avoid the event of this weekend: the Melt! Festival, place to be for electronic music lovers... not with Kraftwerk, but yes with all those already hyper-known-names. Any other thing you do this weekend,anywhere else you do it, please, ENJOY IT! 

Intercom Telephone

We had the possibility to make a photoshoot at a really old friends house, and we found really sprecial to make a vintage style, set on the 70s.  

I chose this white outfit because I think it is more than suited to the wallpaper-door-intercome corner we chose,  and how the pictures were gonna be taken.

I think it all came together synergistically in a spectacular way, almost natural. Going to be, in principle, almost anything improvised, to be a perfectly designed bearing.

 You maybe find this two-pieces outfit familiar, and you are right, it is the white version of this. And, as you see too, i combined this jersey with a long dress yesterday, on this post.

 And so, as well, now you can have it HERE ! It is a piece that people is interested on quite a lot, but some of them find it a bit expensive, and I just say: anyone else is gonna wear the same as you. I was checking the prices on the "megacorporation" brands, those who make uniforms for us, so that we look exactly the same, and so we can feel we belong to soemthing, or whatever, and those prices are exactly same, and with some pieces higher. I say "look, i am my own boss, I dont want to be the worst boss in the world and exploit myself and pay myself ridiculous amount of money for my work.

It is our decission, but we should think about all this a litte longer, from time to time. At the end, a person who questions my job, is not the customer I want, because he/she can not appreciate things.

Morning Afternoon

Following with the lazy idea, but not in a really sense of being just laying somewhere, I was thinking about those sundays when you wake up in a natural way, you stretch in bed, get up, maybe shower or just refresh your face, put a comfortable loose skirt on, and your favourite jersey, walk the corridor till the kitchen, and prepare yourself the best brunch ever (when there was no body else to do it for you), and maybe prepare a sweet snack for later ... I was thinking about those sundays, basically, because I just miss them, and because those sundays in my life just happen in winter.

Long skirt, semi transparent, with floral pattern in red, black, white, blue and green. Easy to combine with almost any color. Material is viscose and metal, which shines with movement subtly.

Jersey is white cotton, woven so as to have very small forming diamonds. Also a bit translucent.
