Just a break between the smooth and the textures,  two of the basic principles of The Bronze Medal, but still on the black and white. 

I would say, maybe even say again, if you do not know yet, that I go for the harmony, the clarity, the innocence, the simplicity, the brightnes. And even so I have used graphics before, of course, I feel a total difference here. Maybe on the chaos of the print. I cannot tell. Maybe it already was a bit like that on the White Noise serie, but somehow it was on the course. 

I guess I will have to explain some day what is actually the course about, or what it means to me or even what do I want to explain. But, you know, "to define is to limit"  (Oscar Wilde in "Picture of Dorian Gray") and I presume I am still looking for that, in any case. 

Both pieces are sold already, but still working with these fabrics. 

SUN CALL

Just trying to enjoy as much as possible the last days of sun in Berlin, not warm days, but sunny. 

Found this amazing print fabric and I gotta say it succed! everyone os loving it,  not just those guys with a black-metal past or present or baroque lovers, also preppy girls! So, making some more pieces out of it, but diferent, you know, The Bronze Medal philosophy: one of a kind!

The Bruise(s)

According to Wikipedia, a bruise is a type of hematoma of tissue in which capillaries and sometimes venules are damaged by trauma, allowing blood to seep, hemorrhage, or extravasate into the surrounding interstitial tissues.

As a type of hematoma, a bruise is always caused by internal bleeding into the interstitial tissues which does not break through the skin, usually initiated by blunt trauma, which causes damage through physical compression and deceleration forces.

Well, so one day at the market, just as another, searching for new fabrics I visited this two-men-couple that sell fabrics in different markets in Berlin, that normally have at least one or two interesting ones. This time, there was a lady before me who wanted some meters of a dark green fabric, and so the man opens the roll, becasue it was new one and, for my surprise, the first 3 meters were dyed mistakes/color tests and it looked awesome! so he started to unfold it super fast and I knew he was about to leave it on the side for maybe covering other rolls and protect them, so I was fast as well to say " I want that". He looked at me and straight said "present" while folding it and giving it to me. 

This story just to explain where I got these fabrics, why they are so special, and to let you know that, if you got one, or see someone with one of these, they are more unique than ever because the print was just accidentaly unrepeatable. 

I let them in the Black-bleck-blick-block-bluck project, combinig it with back cotton and elastic jersey fabric to make two sweaters and one sweater-dress

Trekkie Blue

A single picture today... no much time for updating properly, one million things in my head and on my hands, which seems to be my official excuse last weeks (and months). Well, is well worth it to say that this sweater is still available at the online shop, here, and so it's trekkie bro in yellow.

TURACO

As many or most or at leas some, let's say, ideas and posts here come by accident, or chance, so that happened here. While making photoshoot for some black, bleck, blick, block, bluck pieces, we used one pf those fake nose with glasses and nose, all in one, and we actually loved the shoot. And after, checking them all, i loved it even more. And so with that sweater it seemed to work perfectly, as you have many times heard me say "as it was ment to be". Straightaway, I thought about a bird, and started to look for birds images on google and found this beauty one, called turaco.

Following the wikipedia entry, the turacos are noted for peculiar and unique pigments. The turacos are brightly coloured birds, usually blue, green or purple. The green colour in turacos comes from turacoverdin, the only true green pigment in birds known to date. 

They are gregarious birds that do not migrate. Many species are noisy, their go-away-birds common name refers to being especially noted for their piercing alarm calls, which alert other fauna to the presence of predators or hunterscommon name refers to this
