SUN CALL

Just trying to enjoy as much as possible the last days of sun in Berlin, not warm days, but sunny. 

Found this amazing print fabric and I gotta say it succed! everyone os loving it,  not just those guys with a black-metal past or present or baroque lovers, also preppy girls! So, making some more pieces out of it, but diferent, you know, The Bronze Medal philosophy: one of a kind!

The White Noise (s)

                  

 

Repeat...the white noise is a random signal with a flat (constant) power spectral density; a signal that contains equal power within any frequency band with a fixed width. This means that the signal contains all frequencies and all show the same power. The same phenomenon occurs with white light, hence the name. White noise signal is not correlated, that is, in the time axis signal takes values ​​without any relation to each other. 

After this introduction, I am gonna dare to say that this is one of the most awesome fabrics The Bronze Medal is/has been using recently for the apparel ine. The possibilities to make it change just cutting here or there, and combining it also with shiny black silk, made this work very enjoyable.

And now I can say that it is being sometimes a bit sad to let go some of this pieces, because as unique pieces they are just gone. One went to the Netherlands, another one to Israel, and the third one I could not tell, because it was a quick sale, but it was deffo not Berlin based person. Anyway, all them seemed happy, so I am because they loved them.

The Bruise(s)

According to Wikipedia, a bruise is a type of hematoma of tissue in which capillaries and sometimes venules are damaged by trauma, allowing blood to seep, hemorrhage, or extravasate into the surrounding interstitial tissues.

As a type of hematoma, a bruise is always caused by internal bleeding into the interstitial tissues which does not break through the skin, usually initiated by blunt trauma, which causes damage through physical compression and deceleration forces.

Well, so one day at the market, just as another, searching for new fabrics I visited this two-men-couple that sell fabrics in different markets in Berlin, that normally have at least one or two interesting ones. This time, there was a lady before me who wanted some meters of a dark green fabric, and so the man opens the roll, becasue it was new one and, for my surprise, the first 3 meters were dyed mistakes/color tests and it looked awesome! so he started to unfold it super fast and I knew he was about to leave it on the side for maybe covering other rolls and protect them, so I was fast as well to say " I want that". He looked at me and straight said "present" while folding it and giving it to me. 

This story just to explain where I got these fabrics, why they are so special, and to let you know that, if you got one, or see someone with one of these, they are more unique than ever because the print was just accidentaly unrepeatable. 

I let them in the Black-bleck-blick-block-bluck project, combinig it with back cotton and elastic jersey fabric to make two sweaters and one sweater-dress

New autumn project based on black, mixed in some exceptions with colour details, paints ...

Ball on Basket

I start to like making gifs...this is the second one, after this one. 

While making pictures, some kids were playing there during school break, and so this ball came to us and model just caught it with the basket we were using for photos, it was actually what we were doing so it absolutelly fitted with the situation and kids found that very funny too. 

You can see the complete serie of the dresses here, and soon coming on the website too, but not ready yet.  And remember that these pieces are not available in the online shop. 

Basketball Shirt

I am a absolute fan of loose and big clothes, such as sweaters and men shirts that I use as dresses, and that is one of the reasons why I like warm weather: the fact of wearing long shirts and anything else, all day long, even to ride my bike. On the other hand, simple cuts are always a nice and safe bet and cotton looks and feels good on the skin, so that was the main reason to make a small serie/collection basketball shirts pattern dresses with elastic belts under The Bronze Medal Apparel, to combine simplicity with comfort without forgettting about the female body shape. 

So I made three colors, and today I wanna show you the dark green dress with the electric-blue and black belt. 

As it is having a warm welcome already in Berlin markets, it is not gonna be available at the onlineshop by now.
